This probably has no business on this board, but I'll pop if I don't tell somebody.

Five months ago, my wife brought a healthy baby boy out of the hangar. We've been adjusting pretty well to life with baby...then Monday, much to our surprise, we find out she's got another one tooling up on the production line right behind him.

I may have to get a real job now...also going to have to figure out what causes this and put a stop to it...

It is usually caused by the lack of a television in the bedroom, or possibly something in the water. I suggest that you acquire that bedroom TV in short order and buy yourself a Brita pitcher.

congrats,

Congrats

It's a gov't conspiracy to insure that all the 141 flight school recruiters have enough information showing how the pilot shortage will still be in effect for years to come while everyone is still furloughed.

:p

Congrats.

You don't really think I'm going to encourage my children to get involved in this screwy industry, do you? :D

Thoughts of a young father: I look back on all the things I did wrong, all the mistakes I made. I think of all the times I should have picked "B" instead of "A," gone right instead of left. I feel so wonderful that I can now pass that knowledge on to my kids, keep them from making the same boneheaded mistakes I did...

...then I remember, I didn't listen to my father when he was trying to tell me the same things!

Congrats, and good luck imparting wisdom to your children.

When I was 16, my dad suggested that I join the CAP so I could get my license. Thirty one years later, I got started on my private...

Maybe you should tell them to get all of the piercings and tattoos that they can handle. They'll rebel and go to bible college.

I have 7 kids two boys and 5 girls, and yes all with the same wife. Get used to that question you are a pilot. We wanted to have 5 kids but I didn't get around to getting sniped until number 7 was born. We figured that number 7 was conceived after a 10 day trip. The oldest is 23 and heading to the mission field with Wycliffe Bible Translators. The next 21 is an elementary school teacher in Dayton, Tenn, she is getting married this Dec. My next josh is a fantastic baseball player. In high school he didn't want to get into flying as he would have to give up his weed. He is over that and is doing great now. Jamie is a junior in high school. The rest are still being home schooled. The last five were all born at home with the family participating, I have been there for each birth. All the kids have been home schooled up to high school. For high school we sent them all to public school, we called it their mission field. With the exception of Josh our older kids have all done stints with Teen Missions of Meritt Island. They have gone to Costa Rica, Mozambique,North Pakistan, Israel,Phillipines, Down Under,Tanzania, and all points in between. Going on summer mission trips and working in another country has totally changed our girls. Josh just got in with the wrong crowd at 13 and he was a real pain during high school. He is doing great now which I am more than thankful for. 14 years ago we left DPA and came down here, I had an oppurtunity at that time to start and FBO and manage VLY airport in LaSalle, ILL. I chose the airline route instead of the GA route, ifI wanted my family to stay in aviation I should have gone with the airport. Who knows, there is weed in Illinois too. Enjoy the babies, the first one is easy the second is a real mind shocker.
