Some guys are able to jumpseat- I've heard Southwest, ATA, and Commutair have let guys ride. I think I've heard some others out there that will also, but I don't think any of them is a sure thing even if there is an open seat.
So far JetBlue and Alligent will allow anyone with a vaild crew badge a seat in the back.

First I've heard of that. What exactly did he say?
I dont' have the j/s list handy but I'll check. Apologies for not getting on.
The statements that he made were to the effect that we were not on the list. That he knew that I knew that we are not on the list. And, that I better not try to jumpseat on JetBlue again. He was was very firm and instructed the CSR's to that effect.
