Hi guys,

I thought I'd start a new thread since the old one was getting a little long. I've been quietly updating the table, but until DR400's announcement today, there wasn't much news to report. Things still seem to be progressing at a snail's pace - it doesn't look like anybody was invited to interview in February.

In any event, here's the table as of now. If anyone has any corrections or additions, post here or PM me.

What is "waitmail"?

People who sent their application after the first week in February were not immediately invited to an interview. Rather, we received an email from Derinda McKinstry stating that our application had been accepted and we were to wait for an invitation to interview. To my knowledge, nobody who was told to wait has yet been invited.

I just received the waitmail today. It took about 10 days from when I sent in the application. Hope I don't have to to long for an invite.

On 2/23 I e-mailed derrinda apologizing for bugging her and told her I was anxious. She e-mailed me back and said not to worry. They took a little break in February to get caught up but they will get to me soon. Hopefully that means all of us on the wait mail will be called in soon for an interview. I guess we'll all be white knuckling it for a little longer. Good luck to all and hope to see you in school real soon.

Hey guys, just wanted to let anyone know who hasn't received and application after emailing their resume. As you all know, apparently they are very swamped right now. I emailed mine on 2/14 (I know...sweet right?!) and received the confirmation email the next day. My two good friends there then contacted Derinda a couple of days later and she was unable to locate my resume, so they emailed it directly to her and I received the application 4 days later, not counting the intervening weekend. So if it's been a while and you have heard nothing from them after sending in a resume, try and contact anyone you know there and see if they will call or email Derinda to check the status of it...it might be lost in the pile like mine apparently was. Just a thought and good luck to everyone!!!!!!!

Hey all - looks like things are a little slow now. Anyone know or hear about a deal between NWA and NJA? I would wonder what NWA could give in return for special treatment for furloughed NWA guys? BTW - I just got hired at my local airport flying Lears. Glad to get back into something that goes higher and faster that the 207!
