I get hazy about acronyms sometimes...what is the mco program?
Maintenance Carry Over - a program designed and approved by the FAA to authorize NJA maintenance to carry write ups that are minor but not covered by the MEL. Missing placards would be an example of something covered.

Would you care to expand on that comment??

Sure.
Nothing has changed on the company side from a couple months ago. There are still rumors of layoffs, no raises, no training seminars, still a hiring freeze, rumors of tuition assistance reductions, and rumors of benefit ruductions. Most people say that they don't believe the article and that NJ is still in the red.

Absolute bullsh*t. The FOs told me the real score, how you guys had a list of things to squawk which were not MELable. Don't kid a kidder.

The God bird screeches! Well G, you got the first part of the sentence right. Did these FO's produce "the list", or are you just making this up as you go along? Wouldn't those things that are broke but not MEL-able constitute a broke airplane? It is in the real world, but I forget your in a parallel universe called "LORD GOD BIRD PARADISE".....

Two years and seven months away.....Have you figured out which Cessna you want to fly????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

MAJIK posted this G...read it again and learn:

So, one of the many reasons (selling off the core fleet, overselling Marquis, funding losses and building a new HQ for NJE) NetJets lost money was because it took Santulli 4+ years to realize how important it was to have reasonably satisfied employees in the pointy end of his jets and that these pilots weren't going to bought off with a few beads and trinkets.

I wanna fly the little cute one with black wings:nuts:

Just did 14.2 JRKI-KTEB. Im getting tired of watching DVD's and eating all that fancy cheese and crackers. Plus that Korean BBQ gives me gas.

Consider this as you search for a world where everything is always black and white... Are you really claiming that you always do such a thorough and complete preflight that another pilot, immediately doing a detailed preflight of the same aircraft would never find anything you missed that might not meet specifications?

So are you just a sloppy preflighter or are you actually experienced enough to preflight an aircraft and know what is essential for a safe flight and let the minor (but technically illegal) stuff slide until a more convenient time and place to get it repaired?

Did that help put the situation in perspective or are you still murky?

Oh, OK I think I get it now. What you're saying is that before the contract the union's position was not to fly any aircraft illegally. Now that the contract is signed it's OK fly as long as it's only "technically" illegal and "technically" broken.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Nope, you missed the point again, but I'm sure it's a purposeful omission.

The union was very specific that nobody do anything like you described. Our instructions were to follow the contract and FAR's. I just find it hard to believe that you met 2 FOs that went quietly along with something that they felt was immoral and could also cost them their job. I think the 2 guys you are referring to may have witnessed captains writing up something that was minor, yet technically legal and correct. I'm not naive enough to think that there was never an instance of somebody falsifying a write up but you make it sound like it was something mainstream, which is absolutely not true.

Possibly, someone who had not been in an FBO during the 12 months leading up to your November 2005 CBA might believe your post.

However, the rest of us saw you Teamsters pilots competing with each other to see who could ground aircraft for the most asinine reason, challenging each other to fly the "Pledge", treating pax gruffly and calling out reminders like, "Remember to fly long range" facetiously as pilots headed out to their aircraft.

You weren't exactly secretive about it.

There is nothing wrong with reminding folks to fly the Pledge. If you have taken the time to read the pledge, then I think you may agree. The Pledge assures the owner top notch safety and service. How you can disagree with that I'm not sure.

If any crewmembers treated passengers "gruffly", I'm sure they were disciplined. If you actually witnessed this (and I seriously doubt you did) did you do anything about it? We all are under the same umbrella. I bet the complaint line is the same number on our literature as yours.

As far as LRC, we do this on ferry legs for fuel savings. Company policy.

And it's ALL the fault of the pilots, uh??? Mgmt and BB N gang had absolutely nothing to do with that? Get real kid.
