I revieved the email with an interview invite for Feb27/28. I replied directly back to the email sent by Derinda. When can I expect to hear back? Im trying to be patient, just dont want to get passed up.

About the suit. The dude a Mens Warehouse told me that dark blue is no longer in, and that dark charcoal was the preffered suit for interviews. Does this apply to aviation.

Thanks

I wouldn't sweat the color of the suit (as long as it's not bright orange or pimp purple:eek: ), just make sure it's clean and not wrinkled. I can't imagine Derinda or anyone else from NetJets saying, "Gosh, we would have hired you but you wore dark blue and not the Men's Warehouse-recommended dark charcoal". By the way, you'll be wearing dark blue once you get hired.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

We just fired Twin Hill (Men's Warehouse) as our pilot unifomr provider this year. For what there opinion is worth...

They're smoking. Doesn't happen real often, I don't think (the planes sure don't smell like smoke), but the owners are allowed to smoke in the planes. I was required to sign an acknowledgment of this when I accepted the job.

I would think a professional, conservative, dark colored suit would be fine. During my interview, the captains doing the interviewing actually joked about how caught up people get on this point. They asked for all the guys with blue suits and red ties to come to the front of the room. They said that these were the only people that would be hired. They then broke out laughing. It was a good ice breaker...

don't sweat the color. Buy a suit that you will wear again... maybe to your Flexjet interview :)
