Thanks .. its just interesting the one's who said they do not pay me enough still look like they slept in their uniform after a 50% pay increase. You can't hide class - you either have it or you don't.

Fart,
Just don't start on my zipper tie. I love that thing.

Anyways, if you are doing a tour of the puzzle palace you should be in at least a shirt and tie. That is the dress code, business formal. And as for wearing the same suit two days. Tacky??? Please, just change the tie. Most pilots only own one suit.
Interview, suit and tie. Though, I think someone should make a name for themself and wear a blue tie instead of the red. Everyone wears red.

I wore blue tie with charcoal suit...And the same suit wouldn't have been so bad except it was a pinstripe that stood out pretty bad. He did change the tie though...

Also, the email from HR about the first day of the interview specifies "company casual". If you wear a suit for the tour do you therefore get marked down for not following directions? Now dress slacks, shirt and tie will be my day 1 attire, I'll save the interview suit for day 2.

Dude, I saw you at FSI the week of Jan 16. :D

No serious, I did see you or someone who stole your suit and tie. Go check your closet.

I'm so happy these discussions ensue...I wore a red tie for the puzzle palace (actually it was paisley with red dominance ), and a beautiful blue tie for the interview. As we got off the hotel van on day 2, Derinda remarked "Nice Tie'. In fact she commented on it several more times that day. I'm convinced that is why I got the job!

If you want to hedge your bet, wear the tie on the first evening. If you notice that no one else is wearing a tie, then remove it and put it into a jacket pocket. Wearing a suit without a tie would fit into a "business casual" atmosphere, I believe.

Or go Southwest and show up in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. That will get you noticed.

Though I prefer a IBT 1108 tee shirt. That would get my approval. Though, as I have said many times, no one listens to me. So stick with the suit.

I've read the email many times and nowhere does it mention dress code for either day of interviews. I think I'll go with slacks, shirt & tie and blazer. I'll save the suit for day two. Will report back in 72 hrs of the outcome.

Baja.

Sounds like a safe bet Baja...I guess i'd reccomend from everyones input to go with the shirt and tie...I didn't but hey, it certainly wont hurt...GOOD LUCK
