Guitar Guy said:And according to some of the maintenance guys in CMH, the 400XP is a maintenance headache.
ultrarunner said:What's the 400XP not doing that it was touted? $hit, the Beechjet has been around for eons...can't imagine the 400XP doll-up job did much for it???? What's the deal?
RNObased said:The beechjunk has been around for a long time as a corportate jet... As a fractional aircraft I can't think of a worse plane....
Poor performance/range with more then two people on board..... Heats come on forget about going anywhere.... No luggage, fractional owners like to carry enough luggage to invade a small country if the need arise... Runway has snow on it, you aren't going.... God, I could go on forever, this is TOO easy....
In Europe it could work.... Shorter legs....
Piss poor plane..... Well one thing is good the Collins avionics...
And I know what I'm talking about, been flying the thing for NJA since the beginning of this mis-guided program....

I don't care where you're from... that's funny!ultrarunner said:I would think NJ has sold the shares before the order gets placed.
Diesel said:i doubt the climb performance would be any better in europe. You still have the 3.3 gradiant problem with anti-ice on.
Plus they have mountains over there that make our mountains look like speed bumps.

RNObased said:Diesel,
The story is the legs are shorter over there so you can get the weight down enough to make the gradients..... You don't have to come out of ASE and go for 2+ hrs to get anywhere..... Shorter legs...
BTW the Alps and such are big, but they don't put a lot of our mountains to shame....
On Your Six said:So, if all of the Beechjets go to Europe, what is the likely replacement aircraft? Would the Beechjets go sooner than later - in a phased approach? When would this phase-out start?
I recall that Santulli had a fit that CS would be getting the CJ3s and cancelled all of the NJA orders - obviously that would be a great replacement aircraft if Santulli could swallow his pride and do what's right...
Could NJA even order the CJ3 with its current order backlog?
