I have never had a problem with TSA at any airport. I always go thru security with my bags. I have taken bottles of water, sodas, beer, even a big bottle of vodka. They see the stuff in my bag, raise an eye-brow, see me in uniform and let me go. Never a problem.

I tend to check my bag in too, even- well, except when it's an RJ, then I valet it. I use a 26"er now and besides, trying to find overhead space at the last second and running to the back of the plane to get the bag etc. after the last pax are offloaded, reminds me too much of the bad ol' days of airline commuting. In a year and 3/4 on the line, I have only lost my bag once and that was a flight home where I missed a connection, and I got it that very evening.

FlyLow.. Chill out.. if you dont like the title dont read the thread.. Did a search for "NetJets and TSA" and guess what.. This is the only thread that showed up!

So TO THE NETJET PILOTS out there do you pack several 3 oz bottles of the stuff you need for your tour, or do you buy it on the road?

Thanks

Are you a pilot for NJA?

If so, go to the Union site with this.

Also, if you are not a NJA pilot, you don't need to know how we conduct our business.

Also, if you can't find threads on a particular topic, learn how to.

I did a search and came up with these. I'll give them to you for free this time. Maybe I'm capable of a successful search because I am a MEI? ;)

Ponderous thought...

ponder with me, won't you?

Why would discussing this issue further here and "educating" (negatively as far as I'm concerned)
TSA
personel any further on this matter be beneficial to commuting Part 121 (off duty) pilots, and fractional pilots?

We don't we drop the subject before we add to circus that we call "airlining".

It's hard enough already without giving them ammo.

Deal?
