When applying to NetJets (or other fractionals) can you count SIC time towards your total time, to meet the 2500 hour minimum?

And is there anywhere we can find the truth to the rumors that they are limiting domicile choices to new hires?

Thanks Gun

Actually I called NetJets a while back and you can multiply your total time (miltary) by 1.3. Just never asked them about the SIC time... I guess I'll call them back to find out about the Domicile question.

I emailed Derinda the other day and she said that if you put DAL, or TEB on your application you will not be interviewed until they needed somebody for those domiciles. They are trying to keep the five domiciles as equally staffed as possible. Example, they could start putting people in DAL tomorrow or next year. Get your name on the list and hope it is sooner than later. Best of luck.

Actually the application stated 1.2*TOTAL for a mil conversion.

WJM What is a C-26B?

Yeah but ours at Naples, at least, were reliable workhorses; they were fairly comfortable, had leather seats throughout and the EFIS cockpit as well. I'd take that airplane over the TC-12B (King Air) that I'm flying now any day of the week. But hey, for a Navy guy on the "sunset" tour, I'm just happy to be flying!

I hear ya about the "happy to be flying" part....but as a civilian, passenger carrying airplane....the SA-227 sucks!!!! Poor brakes, no tolerance for ice, very "interesting" stall characteristics and it needs water for take off on a hot day, especially to get 19 pax and loaded bags in the air. The interior was way to small for the passengers. Paying pax did not like the plane at all.....
