Hey guys, I did a search...however it must not have been the best, because I couldn't find any info. I am curious as to what aircraft are available at TEB if I get through my app and hopefully an interview. Yeah, I know I'm getting ahead of myself, however, I've always been a big planner...par for the course. Thanks for any help.

The problem is that there appears to be little method to the madness, or if there is, the company doesn't share it. It's quite random and hard to predict what domicile city and/or fleet will be offered at any given time. It shouldn't hurt to call the HR dept and ask what their projections are for TEB. Good Luck!

You'll have to forgive RNO, the whole domicile debacle has been a sore subject for many of the NJ pilots. It is not popular among the pilots, to say the least.

njw, I'm seeing the domicile thing brought up a lot on the boards, and I certainly didn't mean to incite anyone. To be honest, it was more out of curiosity than anything as I'll sit in whatever airplane they'd want out of TEB...as long as I have a schedule and my wife will actually be able to plan things for us and the kids!

RNO...sorry dude if that question got on your nerves. I'm sure you've had enough of it.

It was my mistake, I just caught your tag line and thought you were being sarcastic in your response to RNO. Most of the NJ guys are quite willing to share info, even on the domiciles.

Good Luck

No issues, however the question has been beat like a dead horse. A search under this subject would have yielded about 50 threads on the subject.

All the planes are available from any Domicle. It doens't run like a airline where there are only X types being flown.

Ding ding ding!!! Now that was the answer I was looking for. As I said, I did search the threads but the question wasn't about domicile...it was about the airplanes. Thanks for the answer to my question!

In theory, all of the planes can be assigned to any domicile, but which fleet has an opening at any given time varies. So when you interview (thinking positively for you...:) ) there may be only one or two to choose from.

Thanks njw! Positive thoughts are being collected in my cookie cache on my laptop to be used when corresponding with NJ HR department. ;) Now, you've made it even more clear for my wife and myself. So, basically, all aircraft are at each domicile ~ it simply depends where they need bodies. Gotcha! As I said, I really don't have a preference on aircraft (althought extra $ for the XLS would be nice!), just TEB...it's only a couple hours drive from my house. I've looked at it over and over, and if I calculate how much time I drive to and from the airport now each week, it about evens out to a drive once a week to TEB. NOT to mention that with NJ, my time off is my time off. No argument here.
