Wow, this is almost like it was last year. We need a good fight on this board. Can't we keep this going. Troll, Family guy, Dispatcher come on punch back. I need a life.

Monthly management fees have increased 22-33% since 2003 in the small and mid-size cabin fleets. The Company has been preparing for the pilots rasies since then.

Now its time for them cast aside the old ways of doing things and begin to run things from Ft. Fumble with more efficiency. The Union has extended a hand to help identify and assist in correcting the bleeding.

There's going to be more trimming in the Casino.....I, for one, beleive the FM's must be given more authority to make decisions. They are an asset that is currently being underutilized. If there is one group that has a handle on the "Big Picture" its those folks.

Interesting on how you attack our specialty areas but I never attack your flying capability.

I am REALLY interested in hearing how we could get back to the "good days?" Really, what WERE the "good days" in your expert opinion? Was it before the casino was built and we were all hanging out on N Hamliton Rd??? Was that it? Was it during the time frame when scheduling had free reign over the place and there were less folks watching out over the schedulers??? Wait a minute....there aint nobody watching over scheduling ......STILL!

I agree. I would also like the ACP's to get their authority back. The other day I explained that my crew needed 12 hours rest. The ACP explain in frustration that scheduling would not allow it (WTF?) and that my only option was to play the fatigue card .... So of course I did, and got 14 hours rest .... go figure.

Now for those that know me, I'm very understanding of the job scheduling has to do - but since when do they tell an ACP how much rest they'll allow?

That is because of one simple fact.

If we (the pilots) did our job the way you (scheduling) do yours, there would be metal scattered all over the USA..... IF we make mistakes, people get hurt or worse, if you make mistakes all that happens is wasted money.... A lot of that waste going on, not much of the former. I suggest you thank the pilots for your job next time you see one.

The pilots are the ONLY ones in the company held accountable for their actions.
