For a crashpad or a home? I have a crashpad by the airport that isn't exactly paradise but with all the flight crew people at the complex it isn't too bad. If I were to move to Detroit with my family I'd get as far west as I could. Out towards An Arbor seems to be a popular spot for non-natives. Detroit is one of the ugliest city's I've seen, but the surrounding areas aren't so bad.
