Hey everyone,

I'm in need of help for my latest research project. My topic is to highlight the importance of local GA airports, and their impact on the local economy. Other than sources like:
www.aopa.org
www.gaservingamerica.org
The movie One Six Right
etc..
Does anyone else know of any great fact website, databases, or any other source(s) that could be of great use for my topic? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Raul

Contact your state's DOT. I did a lot of graduate research with the DOT on designing airport pavements & rehabilitating old pavements but know they had info like that. They're required to have all sorts of numbers together to apply for the federal matching funds. Your local airport manager could be invaluable here as well.

Also, many states have a non-profit association for the advancement of all airports throughout the state. It's called The Aviation Council of Alabama down here, I'm sure your state has the same type of thing.
