Need an approach plate for the above airport (KIWA) for use on the internet for training...anybody know how to get one free???

Appreciate the help.

Thank you very much!!!

I did not realize that the approach plates could be obtained in this way. Again, very helpful. Much appreciated.

Good ole' IWA... I've shot more approaches into that airport then I care to remember! Did my instrument rating in Phoenix, and we would always shoot the VOR DME 30C, Hold as published, then radar vectors back around for the ILS 30C.

I can still do those approaches in my sleep - 110.15, 303 inbound, FAF JARED, DH 1580'. :D

JAROD is the IAF for the VOR-A into Stellar. SNOWL is the FAF for Willie.

I know 'em by heart, too. :D

** Slapping Forehead ** DOH! Ok, well I look stupid now! You are correct - the Stellar VOR A was another one of those endless approaches we use to shoot as well!

By far the easiest way to get an approach, arr. or dep chart is www.fltplan.com
none of that BS .pdf, all .gif files.
Not sure why you think that pdf files that you can print easily, make the size of a barn door without losing any detail, and download all of the plates for an airport at one time (some of the NACO redistributors, like myairplane.com) is BS, but ok.

"JAROD" and I are very well aquainted, as well.:D

It's sort of a "love-hate" relationship. ;)

AND!! PDF maintain their resolution regardless of print size. You will find that .jpg and .gif lose resolution when you print them. They both look good on the screen, but it is the printer that makes them worthwhile

During instrument training I would print out the PDF to fit a full-size page. My instructor made fun of me but I could drop 'em on the floor and still read 'em!
