Just heard on the news that a Navy S-3 crashed very close to NAS JAX and about a mile from my house. There isnt word on the crew, although firefighters observed deployed parachutes. Not very good for the campaign to bring the East Coast master jet base back to Cecil Field from Oceana, VA. I saw on the news one stupid guy holding a sign that said "This is why we dont want the jet base at Cecil".

Everytime a us military jet crashes, they should take away one amendment of the constitution...that'll teach those commies. :D

Sea Control Squadron 32 "Maulers", it crashed on approach to NAS JAX rwy 9, still no word on the crew.
