Just a question for everyone. I was a former marine harrier mechanic and got out in 1996. A few months ago I went in and took the flight test to be a naval aviator. The commander informed me that with the overwhelming response of applicants that due to my age (31) I would not qualify for a pilot but would qualify for a rio position. My score were better for the pilot than the rio because of mechanical knowledge. She informed me that I had to be out of OCS by the time I was 31. Has anyone heard different on this requirement, I know in the military their is a wavor for everything, could their be one for this. thanks everyone
