I believe N300R & N840R are based @ JQF.

When did they sell their CL-600?

I called this company last summer and asked what type of aircraft they had. The girl who ansered the phone said, "Let me see what we've got this week." I assumed they didn't have the same thing each week which led me to believe that it wasn't a stable operation and I didn't check any further. I could be wrong--very wrong about them. I was newly typed in the 31/a and was feeling around for Lear operators who may need contract pilots.

Does anybody here work for them? Are all aircraft based in DAB? Pay? Schedule?

Thanks.
I have not worked for any of the flight departments but I do have a close friend that does fly for a company who does the farmed out flying. The majority of these positions are somewhat difficult to obtain unless you know a current pilot or someone pretty high up holding a respectable position within the company. It is basically a "good ole boy" network meaning most positions will be filled prior to the different flight departments ever advertising the openings publicly. You either need to know someone or get pretty lucky and be in the right place at the right time. It would be suggested and a good idea to get on with a 135 flight department in the CLT area(s) and from that you will be able to network, meet the right people, etc. Sending them a resume out of the blue probably isn't going to produce the desired results unfortunately.

Hendrick motor sports and DEI would be my first choices if I were going to want to do this type of flying. Nice equipment, decent pay, and they treat the pilots pretty well.

Good luck and keep us posted should you decide to pursue this arena in the business.

Nascar has gotten rid of their Lear 60's for Hawker 800XP-C and is also purchasing a Citation X. The Falcons/Challengers are still there and I believe there is still a Citation 650.

A family member works there and he likes it. They all wish there was more money but that may come. The time off is getting better and the upgrade time seems to be around 2 years. Little more/less depending on total time and experience.

I think the X will be based somewhere on the west coast, maybe Van Nuys.

Good benefits and you have to live within 2 hours of DAB. From my corp experience I would say this is definately one of the better ones.
