A couple of questions for those in the know...

1. Is Nantucket Air the same as Cape Air?

2. What are the hiring mins?

3. Is there a deal being worked with FSI in Vero Beach to provide pilots?

Thanks in advance....

As far as I know, Cape Air bought Nantucket Airlines but kept the name because ACK Air had a loyal following. If you fly for Cape Air, you can be in either a Cape Air airplane or a Nantucket Airlines airplane, depending on which one you are assigned for the day, and you can be flying either airlines' routes.

The hiring mins are an ATP and 200 multi. Don't know anything about deals with FSI.

Cape air did buy Nantucket air a while ago and its true they kept the name because of the following it had on Nantucket and a few of the planes are still in the Nantucket airlines paint. One in the same company basicly.

MINs are 1500tt 200multi "ATP hrs", they use to let some guys do the ATP ride the same time as the comapny ride, they preferr you have ATP first though.
The are a couple of positions for people with less hrs.

I have not heard a thing with FSI.

It was a fun place to fly for the year that i was there, still have a lot of friends there.
