Its interesting that the loudest and most angry comments come from those that believe they have "THE BEST CONTRACT". I would think they would have better things to do than worry about everyone else.

The truth be told is that they know they are working on borrowed time. If you have not bargained for a contract post 9/11 then you should just wait. Some choose to hold onto what they have rather than help their companies during tough times. Again, their choice, but don't expect to be rewarded for no assistance.

True, but you should also not expect to be rewarded for assisting the company. It's all business and whether you choose to help the company or not does not affect managements loyalty to you one way or the other. I'm not saying that you shouldn't accept less to help the company through hard times when appropriate, just don't think that management will voluntarily reward you for your sacrifices when times get better. Remember the old saying, "No good deed goes unpunished."

I am. I look to this board for some good gossip, and all I read any more is BS! I can't believe someone even started a thread "which airline/regional do you hate the most"
That blows me away! I don't care for a lot of things that go on in this business, but I'm not wasting my time hating anyone!
737
ok, I'm off the soap box now

I second that..

Yo Freddie,

Nice pic. I sure hope thats not your GF, cause I've got a whole bunch of pics of her that I can't post here!!! LOL It's ok, I won't tell anyone... ;)

Axel

you tell us that all us RJ pilots just rip on you and come out of college. Well guess what you just screwed your first email in this were you said we shouldn't be bashing each other. There is a reason why RJ pilots fly 5 leg days and have 13 days off a month but get paid 130 hours worth. You fly 2 legs a day, off 18 days and get paid $250,000 a year. There is a reason why the MAJORS are not making money.

737pylt,
I just left DL myself. Things not looking all that great right now. Don't know how plugged in you are but we have the last 250 to be furloughed coming back. Some are already back and we are little by little seeing them come back to requals. Apparently though thats going to stop. Good luck to you. I hope things start turning around soon. I agree this board sometimes has a lot of BS floating around. But there is still a small part of it that offers good info.

Regards

It's pathetic for a bunch of individuals that claim to be so d@mned educated, professional and omnipotent.
