Does your husband pick his nose a lot? And scratch?

I'm wondering if it's as boring as he thinks it is. He thinks you fly a tiny bit and then site at any rare destination in timbuktu and pick your nose waiting at the airport for many hours and then return....He needs stimulation...

Hey, I agree !! And the regionals pay sooo well and let you wear those nice double knit looking uniforms! WOW !!

Yes it is boring... horribly so. It is so dull that I recommend you go fly for a regional. It is so much more exciting and the people so much more lively.

Close the door on your way out please.

Thanks!

Hey Danger, I'm with you ! I work for a wireline company. Most of our trips are to boring places like Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico,Utah, Texas and several trips to South Louisiana. Last week the redfish were really biting. Booooooring!!!

Yeah...boring. Flew up to Kalispell MT (truly God's country) the other day (.9 flight), arriving at 0830, got the boss on his way, grabbed the fly rod and waders from the wing locker, spent the day on the river, departed around 1800 (.8 flight home). Tough day's work...your husband is probably not cut out for this kind of rigor...tell him to look somewhere else.

NO,,,,but

If it will make him a corporate pilot on this side of the country, I can train him.

Corporate is just like the regionals. If you are lucky and find that great job, you will never be happier. But a bad corporate job, like a bad regional job, will make you want to get out of aviation. A good corporate job is, in my opinion, aviations best kept secret. That being said, I would estimate that only about 20% of the jobs out there qualify as a great job. To find a great job takes a lot of networking and a lot of luck.

Can anybody point me to some good golf courses around APC? I am getting tired of doing the wine thing every time we fly in.

Who is we?

Personal preference in my humble opinion. But for those of us that have been exposed to most of the corners of aviation (Military, Production, Airline, Charter and Corporate for me), I believe, tend to gravitate to Corporate. Hmmm.....

At least in corporate you're not a slave to the seniority list. TC

P.S.--A bad day doing Jepp revisions is better than... Well, actually it's not better than ANYTHING else. :D

Don't think he's qualified for a Corp.

Where does he want a job ?

With only two years in regionals. He's moving to OH. And me, we'll I'll be letting ya know.

Nice! (and my wife wondered why I needed a Cabela's credit card when I went corporate)
