Anyone read "I could never be so lucky again" Jimmy Doolittle? Thats one of my personal favorites. Amazing life he led as well as the contributions he made to aviation. Check it out.

Moondog - MUST READ

I just finished reading Moondog. Pick up a copy of this book. You won't be disappointed. Extremely entertaining! While I'm sure the author has taken one or two liberties with the facts, I'm that most of it is based on the truth. Therefore, I recommend the book to new pilots so they get some idea of what they're getting into.

Moondog and Fate Is The Hunter are similar. Both are well written. Both tell similar stories. Fate is very serious. Moondog is less serious, perhaps because of the types of operations in which the author was involved.

Pete Fusco should write a sequel to Moondog. I'd love to know what drew him back to flying from newspaper reporting, what his first job was, and how he finally made it to the majors.

Happy reading!

Ditto to Moondog's Academy of the Air.

Could not put it down. And could not stop laughing!! Non aviation types probably wouldn't enjoy it as much.
