Learjet crash at BWI?

Just heard on the radio that a Lear has crashed somewhere around BWI, but no details other than 1 death, but it's so early things aren't clear...

I should have waited before posting because now I've heard it's not a Learjet. There WAS an accident, not sure what kind of plane it was or the extent of injuries.

Jet Crashes Near BWI; One Confirmed Dead

LINTHICUM, Md. -- Fire and police officials said a small jet crashed just near the Baltimore-Washington International Airport early Friday morning.

An Anne Arundel County fire dispatcher said the jet went down shortly before 7:30 a.m. Friday. BWI said the plane was coming for a landing and crashed east of the airport.

Anne Arundel Co Fire Chief John Scholz confirmed that one person was killed. He said crews are still working on putting out the fire by using foam.

Joyce Wetzel -- a resident who lives across the street from the accident scene -- said the plane hit the ground and tumbled end over end along Ferndale Road. She said it hit a tree and skidded between two houses.

Kenneth Doan said he heard a large screeching noise before the crash.

BWI said the plane is an Mitzubishi MU2 jet. It is a pressurized turbo-prop jet that can hold up to six passengers.

The area has been closed off to allow for emergency crews to handle the accident.

Turbo-prop jet?!?!?!?

The plane that crashed at KBWI was a MU2 which departed KPHL.
The MU2 that normally runs this route is owned by EPPS AIR and one person aboard is confirmed dead. The aircraft crashed on the front lawn between two houses and may have clipped a roof of one of the houses. EPPS usually carries checks and crashed at 7:25 AM.

MU2 crash update, the aircraft clipped some trees, slid through the back yard and slammed into a parked pick-up truck and boat on a trailer.

Thanks to whoever changed the thread title to be more accurate...

Prayers for the family of the pilot are going up.

IF someone knows who this person was, I would appreciate a PM. I had the privilage of meeting many of the Epps guys while my past company sometimes covered some of their MU-2 runs with our own.
All great guys.
Thanks
