Anything that can fly 2/3 of the way across the country with almost 100 passengers isn't a regional jet.
 
Nice looking airplane. But I am not really sue that it would classify as a regional jet.
 
The radical reconstruction of the South after the Civil War was neither radical nor a reconstruction. Discuss.

Finally a competitor to the EMB. Anything would be better than the CRJ-900/1000.


How is this a competitor to the EMB? The cabin is the same width as the CRJ and it has aft cargo loading. This is only an updated CRJ with under wing engines.
 
Everyone is now shooting for that 100-120 seat range. This airplane will be flown at mainline. I'll bet NWA is first.
 
I believe Bombardier recently shelved plans to make the C-series any time in the near future.
