Filling out an airline application. Asks for ANY traffic infractions where a fine was paid.

Just wondering how to find out when I got my one and only ticket. It was around 1990, but I don't remember the exact date.

Three years ago, I pulled a national driving record and it showed nothing on it. I want to be honest, but if I say August '90, and they have info about one in July '01, It would look fishy to me.

Is there any other place to look for a driving record?

Am I splitting hairs?

So you had ticket in July 2001? I don't quite understand where that date comes into play. Or do you just want more confirmation that your record is clear?

For what it's worth, I had a speeding ticket less than a year ago and Eagle called me the next day for an interview. The ticket was clearly displayed on my Airline Apps profile. I don't think the regionals care.

If I remember correctly you can pull a full record from the NDR which includes everything. The typical one pulls only 3 years worth, which is what insurance company's use.

I'm saying I don't remember when I got it. Airline application wants the exact date I may not have the YEAR right

1st off COOPERVANE, damn great avatar! 2nd if you got a ticket in 1990 you really won't have too much to worry about. Airlines are looking for anyone with a CMEL. Put your best guess and explain later. I'm sure they won't even care. 3rd, damn great avatar!

I had the same problem with a ticket I got sometime in '94. I put down July 1. I doubt anyone could expect you to know the date of a ticket you got 17 years ago, and it wouldn't show up on any NDR. Like you, I just wanted to be honest. I figured if I put down one ticket in July '94 and they found one ticket in September '94, then that could easily be explained.

There's a lot of things on AirlineApps (if that's what you're using) that ask for specific dates for things that no reasonable person could be expected to remember.

My $.02

Go to your local police station and present to them your drivers license....they should then be able to print of your record

Coopervane,
A Dawg pi$$in'... WTF? Put dem flya$$ scantily clad white gurls back ups..... So I can goes Boingggggggg.... Bouyyyyyyyy

The police at the station may not be able to do much more than you can do on your own, and depending on where you go, they may laugh at you and lock you up for the hell of it.

You can always pull your NDR and all driving records in the states in which you have ever had a driver's license (NDR doesn't show EVERYTHING). If it's not on any of those, it is VERY unlikely the interview board would be able to find it (notice I didn't say impossible). What you do with the information, or lack of it, is up to you--I won't tell.

Contact a lawyer if you are that concerned about it, or need help pulling the records.

Good luck.
