Just wondering which regional if any I might try for if I want to get some 121 time. I've been trying to get over seas but they all seem to want that 121 time and I have none.
By the way, did I hear Mesa sucks? If so, why?
Any opinion on comair, pinn, american E. I don't really know anything about these guys since I have been in charter for my career.
Thanks

Eagle will let you choose your own base and I believe they are still hiring. From what I hear their training dep. is a quite backed up, so things have slowed down, but I would still turn in an application. You can also try Comair and Republic, I believe they are both hiring as well.

With your times, why do you want to go to the regionals? Why not Part 91 or one of the fractionals? What companies are you looking at over seas?

Republic isn't hiring till fall. Mesaba, AE, Pinnacle, Colgan, Lynx Aviation, Comair, Air Wisconsin, and Skywest are hiring right now. Better hurry, there's alot of jobless pilots out there right now.

Highflyer, I was looking at cathay pacific and other cargo companies in asia. I interviewed at emirates in jan but all the guys that made it were 121 captains. Me and 6 others did not get an offer of 14 candidates. But 50% is not bad. I don't want to do the regionals but if it helps me a year from now go in the direction I want them I am willing to suck it up and work at one. I am looking at a year or two down the road and I want to be over seas. I have three interviews coming up. Eagle, comair, mesa, and waiting to here from mesaba. Just have a lot of thinking to do.
thanks for the input.
