I rented Winged Migration from Blockbuster the other night. Absolutely breathtaking footage of birds on all over the planet. Quite a bit of it shot in formation using ultralights. If you like geese, you need to see this movie.

Canadian Geese have always been my favorite animals in the world. There is some nice footage of a flock in formation flying up the Hudson with a pre-9/11 Manhatten skyline behind them. Also a good Statue of Liberty shot.

As an aviator, watching a formation of birds from the inside makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.

Since that bird is your favorite animal in the world, you should know that they are not "Canadian" geese. They are CANADA geese. A "Canadian" is a citizen of Canada who drinks Molson

You might like the movie "Fly Away Home" then. The plot was kind of silly (it was based VERY loosely on a true story), but the scenery was breathtaking.
