Anyhow, here's what they say: Light: ≤ 200 fpm, +/- 10 kts Light/Mod: 201-400 fpm, +/- 15 kts Mod: 401-550 fpm, +/- 20 kts Mod/Strong: 551-650 fpm, +/- 25 kts Strong: > 650 fpm, > 25 kts As a glider pilot, I like to use knots for vertical speed, but this is still great info.
