If you decide to work for this company you'll be sorry. This company will treat you like S**T! be forwarned. This is one of those crap cargo operations. Did it, done it...me and many others will agree. You do not want to work for these people.
that's funny, because they told me you were one of those "sea gull" pilots. All you did was sh!t and squawk, and the only way they could get you to fly was to throw a rock at you.

You got it backwards it was they who sh!t and squawked, when i asked to fly. Do your research you idiot. No opportunity for advancement, hire captains off the streets instead of hiring from within. Even those that gave IOE warned us. Say what you want but that company couldn't give 2 sh!ts about its people. Take a survey. Quote un quote "why should you get raises you're not going anywhere." If this company does such a great job, why did FED EX approach MAC regarding the turn over rate for FO's. And why when I gave my notice was I told "I don't blame you".

No opportunity for advancement? If they are hiring captains off the street, what would they advance to? Five stripers? Super EL-Capitanos? Mega Captain?

You're right, pay hasn't changed at the feeders in years. But the pay aint bad...could be better. You have to look at the overall job...not just pay. Overall, the jobs at the Feeders are pretty good. Sure beats the hell out of being furloughed or between jobs.

I would assume that you got hired in as an FO on the 121 aircraft. Did you meet mins to upgrade? Why would they hire off the street for captains if you met the insurance requirements to upgrade? That doesn't make sense to me that they would hire some stranger to be a captain and leave you sitting in the SIC slot.

The fact that there is no opportunity for advancement at the Feeders is because a lot of people like the feeders and stay there as a career. Good places to work at are like that.

If you wanted one year upgrades, you should have went to Comair or Air Willy.

Example...you are hired into the right seat F-27. Company policy...you must then fly in the caravan one year minimum/build 1,000 hours before you can/could go to the left seat of F-27. (thats if considered)

Example...Now if you're hired into the Caravan you can go directly into the left seat of F-27. Can you explain the reasoning?? Hiring Captains off the street. I knew FO's that had been there 2-5 years.."no sorry you have to fly the caravan...and by the way were short on FO's so you will not be allowed to go to the caravan".

Example..."we'll keep it quiet, but we're going to let this pilot go to the left seat because we want to".

Example...Outstation XXX is closing you have to move.

You may be happy or may have been. But I guarantee you you are one of the few. Before you pass on the ups make sure you're aware of the downs.

Now in your defense..those that are based in southern Florida. Love it. They fly 4 nights a week, home on the weekends. But really...when are those bases going to become available. Many of us had the time and experience.

When you have to make weekly calls, asking to fly, to make $25,000/yearly...with no more than a $2,000 raise..and no bonus?? Cut me and all those you're BSing a break.

Also..it does not beat being furloughed...not for that amount of money and work rules. Regarding who I work for now.. yeah its a regional and the quality of life, pay, work schedule, incentives, per diem, vacation, days off, etc...make this a dream job in comparison.

Don't forget the MAC training contracts.
$14,000 FO 1 year pro-rated
$18,000 Capt 2 year pro-rated
$6,000 Caravan Captain 1 year pro-rated

...or did they go up.
