While Lear and Ce500 types are good for a number of aircraft, here is something else to consider. Do a search for aircraft based within 50 miles or so of your home. Then take a look for the most common aircraft. Maybe your area is heavy in BE400As, Westwinds, C650s or LR45s.

People thought my C750 type would make me more marketable in a corporate op. I told them that wasn't true in my area, where C560XLs outnumber C750s 12 to 1. In my town the 560XL type is golden. The 560XL and 525 aircraft are very popular now, and are being used by more and more people. The types however are only good for 1 or 2 models. Then again, a LR-JET type won't do you any good if all the operators near you are flying CJs.

Something to consider, good luck.

NJA Capt,

How would you go about searching for aircraft in your area? I'd be curious to do it, but have not a friggin' clue how.
