Most states included in sequence?

So I'll be landing in all of the above states in my next 4-day.

New York, Ohio, Texas, Arkansas, South Carolina, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.
So 8 states. I'm curious to know what other sequences match or beat that?

Did a 4-day a couple of years ago that had nine states. It was pretty cool.

Minnesota, Tennessee, Louisiana, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
