Ah yes... I remember seeing that Stearman. Very Nice! I only know of one there so i'm sure were talking about the same one. The guy that ownes it was actually one of my students while he was studying for the commercial written a year and a half back or so. He invited me to go up for a ride some time, but like you, I put it off because I was so busy and failed to take him up on his offer. I'm kicking myself in the arse now! Maybe i'll run into him some day and remind him of his offer. I'm pretty sure he only used it for pleasure and not to rent or give lessons in, but I may be wrong.
