I noticed in the right hand column credit downgrades of both UAL and LCC by Fitch.
 
I did too. They have brought UAL up though. They have assets that they can sell. This fixes the short term. Long term they have to deal with this.

Looks like OPEC sees that the price of oil is too high. I hope that we see 60-70 a barrel by labor day. I want a new Truck!
 
Was it Morgan Stanley that published a list as well? NWA being at the bottom. I too agree this is a well written article.

Airlines have a habit of liquidating early if they thing they can get more for their assets. I think from what I have heard UAL has about 8 quarters before they run out of money. This is of course they dont park airplanes or get extra financing.
