"On Tuesday, attorneys for some 70,000 UAL employees said that U.S. District Court Judge Samuel Der-Yeghiayan has ruled the workers may proceed with a class-action suit versus the carrier's employee stock ownership plan and its trustees. The suit, originally filed in 2003, alleges that the ESOP committee for UAL and the plan trustee, State Street Bank, were aware that the carrier's stock was unstable".
