If DAL is so great then why are people leaving Delta to come over to SWA?

I personally know of 4 people who have done so within the past year. And they were not furloughed either. They resigned their numbers at DAL to come to SWA.

A lot probably left during the BK process when plans were not really clear. My bet is that as soon as they hit a SWA trip with 5-6 legs per day (or multiple legs for those of you who say there aren't 5-6 leg days in any trip) with 25 min turns they will question what they have done. But hey, some people love that type of trip, saying it is more productive and that they would rather work hard at work and then play hard at home. Riiiight. Keep thinking that. In 10 years you will look 25 years older. I will be people watching in Paris (France, not Texas) on Delta's dime. To each his own, though.

Bye Bye--General Lee

I never said DL was better than SW, just that not everyone wants to fly for SW. I still said SW has great pay and great stews. Take a chill pill.

You say it all the time General. But it's ok, I really don't care what you think of things over here. I'm here, your there and I'm atleast happy and it appears you are too at DL. You just get your kicks out of bringing up the AMA, LBB thing all the time and it got old last year. Maybe some new material (factual) would be in your best interest for all your fans.

Why do you jump on all the SWA threads anyway to stir the pot? Just curious. Are you that curious, or just vindictive by nature?

Wonder how many of these people you assume don't like it here will jump ship to DL.

You can watch from France. I'll watch from home since I'm there obvioulsy more than you.

I wonder what GL is gonna do for his 9000 post party?

Ostrich soup & hitting golf balls across his GA estate?

Where are the rules that state I can't opine any time I want to? Are you a commie that favors strict rules? If so, then start your own website and limit the people who can be on there. Otherwise, put me on ignore, I really wouldn't mind. Anyone who doesn't want to fly for Southwest is a jerk to you probably. Quit gulping the wild turkey.

Bye Bye--General Lee

The same place where the rules are written that I shouldn't gulp wild turkey. Stop messing up flight info you jerk.

While everyone speculates that SWA is buying AirTran, Alaska, enter airline name here.... SWA continues to expand on the codeshare with ATA. This forum never gives ATA any respect as to our potential international growth for SWA. That's OK, ATA has continued for over 37 years quietly under the radar screen doing what we do and no one has even heard of us. I guarantee that even after this announcement the focus will be on the next quote:

Wondering who that will be...;)

Actually, I'd have to disagree with you. I've been with AirTran for 5 years and everytime I tell my friends/aquaintances that I fly for AirTran they quickly say "oh ATA". You guys have more namesake familiarity than you think. Everyone thinks you are the rapidly growing major airline that is sweeping the nation.

My momma always told me to ignore a pest and hope it goes away. Personally, being a SWA reject, I'm not as bothered by General Lee (after all it is a free country) but you SWA guys need to listen to my momma.

Don't you get it? The General is just baiting you. I would guess that he sits at the computer making a "set the hook" motion every time one of you tells him to back off the SWA threads.

That's funny. I get the exact opposite experience. "A-T who? Aren't you out of Atlanta? Oh, never heard of you." Hawaiians have heard of us!

I used to say we're the biggest airline you never heard of. Can't say that anymore.

Jumping 5 time zones every 2 days wont age you? I'll be watching from AMA.
