I hear that they are going to start an airline within an airline. The new hires are purely for the new version of Song. It will be called "Lame."

Why not. Appears that DALPA has all but given up scope to Anderson. Geez. How many 70 and 90 seat airplanes are operated by the so-called Delta regionals now?

70 seaters are near their cap via the scope and on the 90 seat question  there are 0. Hope that helps

And where is that large infusion of accessible cash that is enabling that growth coming from???

The cheap shots are getting old.
Not from NWA. Delta HAS been growing without NWA and would grow more without acquiring NWA.

In what, the next 15-20 years? Your own honchos have been quoted stating that "DAL would not be able to continue its growth or meet its financial obligations in the near term without NWA and the money its bringing to the game." Also NWA gives DAL the growth NOW instead of 15-20 years from now. ;) Cheers

I cant wait till this is over so we can move past all the petty back and forth stuff between both pilot groups. After Nov 20th are we going to be on the same sides guys?

Yes, yes we are. Some will be sorta mad, but yes, we will all be on the same side. And, when you guys start wearing your hats and double breasted jackets (Russian Sub Commander uniforms)---we are all going to look like some "wild and crazy guys....." ;)

Bye Bye--General Lee

Yes. Absolutely, the numbers represent that fact.

Bottom line is 15-20 years is a LONG time in this industry and regardless of what the "numbers" show anything can happen. NWA enables dal to get a jumpstart of 15-20 years thus hopefully making it a much stronger airline for ALL of us to work at. Both DAL and NWA are great airlines with great pilot groups. DAL was probably going to be a good standalone company as would have NWA. Nuff said, any other talking points are pointless and nothing more than mental masturbation.

Nov 22nd if Memory serves me correctly. Both sides agreed to this after scheduling the last arbitration session.

In most counts we are merging equal carriers. What it comes down to for us is type and gauge, that is where the SLI boils down to. We have a different opinions on this. The facts seek for themselves.
