More money or monkey business at Avantair??

This is a good move for Avantair- it will stave off the inevitable. However, if they can't make money on their own, how are they going to make money with shareholder's cash? The answer is, they won't unless there are serious changes, the first of which should be getting more money out of the folks they fly around. Not letting some random person use the company as his personal limo service for a year would be a help too. Don't forget though, key folks will benefit mightily from this- and we know who they are. Whenever there's cash floatin' around, someone's got their grubby paws out.;)

Don't you think "money laundering" is a bit dramatic? Perhaps you should change your title. Investors come and go at private and public companies all the time. Have a significant shareholder sell his stake or withdraw is not unusual. In fact, it is often for the better - get the negativity out of the picture. Becoming a public company will make everything transparent for both the regular employees and the management due to disclosure rules. Therefore, management will have fewer things to hide in the negotiating process.

It will be interesting and now a bit more challenging from a growth perspective because impatient shareholders have to be kept happy on a quarterly basis.
