UPDATE: United Airlines CEO: 5-Year Plan May Include Mergers

United Airlines chief Glenn Tilton gave investors something to think about, saying the No. 2 U.S. carrier's five-year plan may include playing a role in industry mergers and new futures for its maintenance and mileage businesses. :puke:

Tilton, who is also CEO of United Airlines holding company UAL Corp. (UAUA), said Friday in a note to staff that the airline will invest about $4 billion over the next five years to "support improvements for customers and employees.

... and he's stlll peddling his ass like a cheap hooker from Olongapo...

What's a cheap hooker from Olongapo look like? Does she look better after a few beers?

Blah Blah Blah......what's new. United is going to takeover the world....blah blah blah.

Cactusboy, I love the avatar. Can't believe I didn't think of that first.

Can't take credit for the avitar. It was made by another AWA pilot (oddly, he is a former AAA pilot!!). Regards.

Tilton sounds like a broken record.

Or maybe his form of Tourette's makes him shout "merger" instead of "Ballsack!" :D

Unfortunately that's the only plan that ass, Tilton, has. Run your own company, for god sakes, and quit thinking about the value of your stock options.

NWA stock has been spiking up. Up quite a bit in the last week. Rumor is that a merger is in the works, and that they are going to exercise their "golden share" with CAL.
