Has anybody here used the airport closest to the Taj Mahal? If so how did it work out for your pax? The drive down from Delhi is dangerous and long IMO.

What is the closest airport (6000'+) to the Great Barrier Reef.

Thanks again for all you help,

Agra, India is the city (VIAG) Its the place to go for the Taj, forget that drive from Delhi.

Its a PPR military field, but not hard to get into. FWIW - I believe its where India has its nukes.

Handler can get you the IAP. they are bad photocopies of old military plates. interesting. Place gets smoggy/hazy (shocker)

Im not sure about arriving/leaving the country from Agra though...another handler question....

Great barrier reef? How about Townsville? Rockhampton? not sure if you have to enter in Brisbane first?...

Man.....Agra? Katmandu? you guys hit all the garden spots!

Closest airport to Great Barrier Reef with Customs is Cairns (YBCS). Hamilton Island YHML (i Think) is 6000+ and is very close to reef but you will need to clear customs in either Cairns or Brisbane first.
