More 787 delays

Boeing (BA 79.49, -2.18) will soon announce additional delays in its 787 Dreamliner jet program, according to The Wall Street Journal. The delays could hurt its ability to deliver as many airplanes as promised, which may cost Boeing millions of dollars in penalty payments.

Wow that sucks. They need to start delivering those things to free up the 767s of the world!!!!

When was the last time an all new aircraft has met its original delivery date? I know it was happening in the 50's and 60's probably before (late initial deliveries that is). Seems they (all aircraft manufacturers) don't have the under promise over perform concept down.
