Trying to get to Monterey, Ca. next weekend. Any tips on the best way to get there?

Option one is to fly to SFO, and then try to jumpseat on Skywest. Other option is to fly into SJC, and then try to take a bus down.

I have a place to stay once there, and a ride back to SF a couple of days later. Just looking for the fastest way to get there, since I only have about 2 days to play.

There are alot more flight options to MRY from LAX than SFO. Both Eagle and SkyWest go there from LAX.

Thanks for the tip. LAX might be a good option as well.
