An interesting statistic if one could ever get it would be of all pilots changing jobs, how many left because they wanted to mostly to fly something bigger faster quicker paying more versus how many were let go for any reason.

My guess after 30 years is that many more pilots leave companies of thier own volition to seek the proverbial golden apple by far than do companies dismiss them. There are so few companies in aviation that you can really make a career of it is ludicrous.
 
Without pointing fingers at anybody who works for NJ today, there is a constant rumor around that some of the upper management types once scabed at Eastern Airlines prior to their shutting down. Is this possible?
 
Thats good to hear. I had heard different but things are not always as they may seem to others. Sorry for even asking the question.
