Since no one hardly ever posts pictures, I like the other guys idea. I went to Alaska last summer in a Seaplane and took some shots I thought my fello flightinfo people might appreciate. Most of them are around the Kenai-Valdez area.
Short final to a lake:

This is tied down at Muncho Lake in British Columbia, we used boat ramp and tied her down in the parking lot:

On short final to Ketchikan, kind of overshot!

Nice pics! Is that Mendenhall (sp?) Glacier in the 4th one? That's a beautiful airplane!

I think it's the Davidson Glacier just south of Haines, about 70 miles up the Lynn Canal from Juneau and the Mendenhall. As always, I could be wrong.

Stop it! You're making me jealous!

Great photos, I've been wanting to make that trip forever. Someday...........

Got any more? I love seeing good high-quality aviation photos of Alaska!

A friend of mine took some pictures in Alaska this past summer. He was working in Port Alsworth on Lake Clark. It's about 160 miles sw of Anchorage.

In the sunrise picture, you'll see some buildings in the far right hand side... that's where my wife grew up!

Enjoy!

Also check out www.flyalaska.com. He's a float pilot for Rust's Flying Service in Anchorage. He's got some awesome pictures on his site!

I've got a few sweet pictures from my time in Alaska.

Perhaps I'll post them in the next few days.

But then again, I'm pretty lazy, and with the layoff I'm only getting lazier!
