I live just beyond drunken walking distance - both great places. Hopefully the MKE base will stick around at least for the 5 years......
 
I'm in MEM these days, but those are sites I miss in MKE......MEH use to have some good sites to see in the airport too.
 
Mesa will buy out SkyWest.

Final Approach lounge on Howell Avenue was always a fun place to hang out. Right across from the airport, in case you couldn't tell.

The only question is - do they hate CRJs enough to buy out an XXX milllion dollar contract or just wait 5 years for it to expire....???

I love wisconsin! The best state ever. If CAL ever opened a base there I would be there in a heartbeat.

They came back with a higher offer last week, looks like Skywest is no hurdle for them. AWAC wasn't when they wanted to end that contract!!!
 
Maybe SkyWest should just make its own offer on Midwest...or Airtran!!

I agree it's going to go junior but there is currently more than 1 person with MKE as a first choice. I counted 21 FO's with MKE as their first choice for upgrade domicile. NOt to mention the 10 ORD CA's who have bid for MKE transfers.

in the past skywest guys have dealt with...in no particular order.

i'm sure others, but can't remember. point is...i'll bet there are going to be many more people from skyway apply to skywest than bitch about them.

Word has it that they are constructing a steel cage octagon in the crew room for matches. It will be sanctioned by UFC. Should be interesting!
