So lets have it. Straight up debate. Who is the angriest and/or most annoying union out there today? Is it the ASA union who appears to think everyone owes them the world and its all pilots job to make their negotiations easier? Is it Mesabas union with their tirless slogan chanting such as NOT ONE CENT? Is it Mesas union constantly singing the "tubthumping" song by chubabawumba or however the hell you spell it. They do tend to say "I get knocked down but I get up again" quite a bit. It could be any number of unions really. So lets hear your opinions. Seeing that nobody cares to respond to your drivel, I'd like to answer a question with a question....If you hate unions so much, then why is it that you chose Comair as an employer? They have a strong union presence on their property, why not Skywest, or Colgan, Jet Blue or any other non union carrier?

I guess its a little jeliousy that you have, knowing that we WILL have a better contract with better pay and you will porbably be out of a job in 6 months. Its ok, i'm sure they will give you an interview here at ASA, we'll need all the pilots we can get with the coming expansion.

Or maybe it's the CMR guys. Some of the most militant, annoying, pro-ALPA people that I have ever met. Oh yeah, that was BEFORE FRED MADE YOU GUYS BEND OVER FOR A PROMISE OF PLANES, when they parked that SHINEY NEW E-170 IN CMR COLORS ON YOUR RAMP. Why don't you just shut the hell up, no one really wants to hear your drivel, and you just keep saying the same things over and over and over...Kind of like the energizer bunny, but at least he has a purpose.

Yep to see who the most annoying union is in every "fellow pilots" opinon. So lets hear it. Im saying ASA's "were entitled to everything" union. Between the endless hours of whining and expecting everyone to make sacrifices for them they easily take the take for most angry and most annoying unions.

I joined because at the time comair was a good place to work, fit my living situation well and they were hiring a lot. So what if they have a union there. Doesn't mean everyone should have to join just because a union is there. Comair called me first, I took the job and here I am. Im not backing a way just because some union things they can force everyone into joining or at least pay mx fees. I am confident that some day forced unionism will be gone. It may take a while but it will happen.

The problem is unions have infected almost every airline with their lies, anger, and fear tactics. Its going to be hard to get them to turn the volume down a lot. Just because a union is at the airline doesnt mean you have to accept it. I work for the company not the union thank you very much. I made the best choice I could at the time and its worked out well. Im not going to let the fact that some union is there change my mind. I will instead exercise my right to speak my mind and tell them to get lost I work for comair NOT ALPO. They dont seem to understand that but they will in time. This is also why I still pay my dues for now, I knew the dues coming in and I still pay them. Doesnt mean i have to like it. I still want to vote.

The ASA pilot group is the ones calling us out. Oh they whine and throw bombs at our group for doing what was best for us. Sorry im just telling it the way it is. IT IS NOT THE COMAIR PILOTS JOB TO MAKE ASA PILOTS LIFE EASIER. If they would knock off the attacks then so would I. I had no beef either until they started getting very arrogant and expecting everyone to make sacrifices just for them.
