Now you can be fired for taking a meal break because the planes will be stocked with cheese-n'-crackers for dinner!

Refrigeration?

How do we propose to keep it cold, otherwise the fruit, salami, and cheese will turn into a science experiment. Especially on the ATR.

I'm sure they are vacuum-packed or something.

And now let all the grumps start complaining about this. This is a good thing guys!

if they are the same ones we get at SkyWest, it's a snack, not a meal. I actually like the one with salami, cheese, crackers, applesauce and Milano cookies. if you won't have a chance to eat for awhile it'll hold you. on the other hand, if I never see the tuna and hummus pack again it'll be too soon.

I would rather have furbuger, red snapper or something along those lines. I think that the meals are a good thing. It's something we should have had a long time ago. I am wondering how they're going to keep track of the meals.
Heck, with our track record, we will still be last on
D-0.
I have to admit that Brad Holmes is trying to do good things here.. oh that's not his real name, I forgot. haha

Laughing, the meals won't make it to the planes. They will be trading the meals on the street for crack.

Can I get a Halal (Arab) meal?

I'll cry foul and call CNN if they're not ethnically sensitive!

At least they're trying now

I think this is a good gesture on the part of Brad's new team. It will probably have to be refined a bit to make it work - but at least they're trying. This is a big departure from the company's attitude a few months ago.

I like the red one. the box was different, but this one wasn't bad either.

Instead of that, why not just do crew meals.

Seems that would be cheaper. If we don't have a 45 minute break on a continous 6 hrs duty time we get a meal.

Seems that would be easier then whats going on there.

We now need some new delay codes, such as:

NMM01: No mini-meals available

NeMM02: Not enough mini-meals

CAH06: Captain allergic to Hummus

FOB08: F/O barfed after eating mini-meal

FART0: Flight attendant flatulent after mini-meal
