Bummer.

Thanks for the link Keydet. I read through the article, and while it looks like it's legal to log PIC time as first pilot, I'd end up arguing the point in an interview and probably lose.

I'd rather get a call for an interview with my 90 hours PIC and have the airline credit me more hours than have them think I inflated my hours.

I'll use the conservative estimate and go with that. I'll be here and I'll be letting my new friends here know how it all turns out.

Thanks everyone for the help.

I wouldn't get too wrapped around the axle with it. The companies that I've interviewed didn't even talk about flight time. When they know you're a military pilot with a clean record and normal progression, they know where they can get your flight times. They also know you probably haven't been padding flight time like a few civilian pilots have done.

In both major companies I interviewed and hired at, they didn't even ask to see my logbook.

I concur with "The Moose". Most companies I applied with want "Part 1" PIC. That makes it easier for us Navy guys since it translates to "you sign, you own".

Don't forget to add in your student solo time.

Ditto. If you sign the A sheet, it is PIC time per FAR part 1; solos count as does time in the rack with the 2P & 3P flying.
