I wonder what the 9/11 hijackers would have done if, ten minutes to impact, they'd found they had an F-16 on each wing. They'd have to react in some way. What would they do? Try and change targets? Give up?

Great....

I can see it now, some furloughed Delta guy in an F-16 has no problem "spearing" a Comair RJ for reasons other than terrorism. Talk about a whole new view on scope.
