Since posting I've "interviewed" my husband and received more comparisons between the Encore and the Ultra. He said that the following were all better in the Encore--engines, FMS, landing gear, and anti-ice system. The Ultra is older and breaks more. I suppose that's what makes it an entry level plane. Still, talk about paying your dues....

Sorry to dump all of that on you...when it rains, it pours, huh? :(

Crybaby.

Welcome to the Ultra!

This is all said in fun. I just can't wait for Christmas to come and go so I can bid out of that pile.

I sent in a resume with a 1.2 conversion factored in. I interviewed about a month ago. The only thing I took with me was my military flight time sheets in the green folder. I did have a seperate civilian logbook with about 150 of hours time in it. While I was being asked questions in the interview, one of the pilots looked at my time sheets and logbook for about five minutes. It was no big deal at all, almost a nonfactor.... They do request a 214 as part of their background check. I was offered a job a day or so after the interview...

And....you accepted? If that's the case, congratulations! I hope it works out well for you and yours.
