Can someone tell me what the associated RCR reading would be for a wet or icy runway?

The reason I ask is Raytheon does not publish the contaminated runway data for the Beechjet, but the military has the data for the T-1. I have seen the T-1 charts, but without knowing anything about RCR values, it is meaningless.

This is what the P-3 manual shows

Runway Condition.......ICAO report.......RCR.....Braking effectivenes
..........dry.......................good.............23...............100%
..........wet.....................medium..........12...............~33%
...........icy........................poor.............05.................0%

The Runway condition, ICAO, and RCR came right off a table, but I pulled the braking effectiveness off of a chart so that might not be as accurate.

I would think if you have a copy of the T-1 manual it should have its own conversion in there somewhere, although I was a Navy type so who knows what the Air Force does.

Please excuse the excessive use of periods, it was the only way I could get the spacing correct, not being a message board pro.

Try the FIH...

There is a DoD NIMA book called the Flight Information Handbook (FIH) that has the conversion chart of braking action to RCR as well...comes out every 6 weeks I think.
