Mil Friendly Airlines/carg etc

Just curious which airlines or cargo companies seem to do the best with mil leave and flexible scheduling that comes with that? Any and all inputs appreciated!

Mil leave is a legal entitlement and protected by federal law. The Dept of Labor is aggresively pursuing employers that hassle reservists. They have to give you time off and any promotions you would have received had you been serving wheter it was an activation or voluntary call up. They have to treat you like you were at the company in regards to seniortiy for up to 5 years. So is you were hired at Airline X and went on mil leave for 5 years the second day at the company, you could come back 5 years later and have 5 years seniority wothout having been there.

Hey L'il Jerry. When I was deployed to Thailand for Cope Tiger a while ago, we bought a gamecock as a squadron mascot. A real fighting chicken! Of course, we named him Little Jerry Seinfeld. By the way, have you heard the story about the gay Eagle pilot at RODN a few years ago? Whenever the Kunsan guys are at RODN they flare and close their exhaust nozzles whenever they taxi by an F-15. I'm pretty sure it was the 67th that had this gay guy and he was blowing cew chiefs and Marines. Just a small portion on you lineage. Do you all still have the stripper pole in your bar?

I've seen the pole, so to speak. Best assignment in the military is flying in Okinawa. Are you there now? I was a tanker guy there.

FedEx is a great goal but UPS is better. Don't believe all the BS complaining you see on here. Once our contract gets done, we'll start hiring in droves. We'll either get an industry leading contract or be on strike within 6 months.

I'm not sure what level you are interested in but Comair is very military friendly. I'm guessing we have 150-200 guard types and I've never heard of anybody being hassled about mil leave. As I understand it, you simply tell them when you are gonna be gone and they put it on your line.
